The EU, UK, and Canada joined the United States of America in condemning the Chinese government for a cyberattack against Microsoft.
The United States and its NATO allies have formally accused the Chinese government of sponsoring Microsoft Exchange Server hacks that took place earlier this year.
The announcements, though not accompanied by sanctions against the Chinese government, were intended as a forceful condemnation of activities a senior Biden administration official described as part of a pattern of irresponsible behavior in cyberspace.
They highlighted the ongoing threat from Chinese hackers even as the administration remains consumed with trying to curb ransomware attacks from Russia-based syndicates that have targeted critical infrastructure.
Thoughts
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been hacking the West since the outsourcing to China began in the 1990s.
I have been complaining about it for over 20 years after the California based software company I worked for was purchased by the Chinese in 2000 and all our government client data was shipped to Beijing China. It became obvious the Chinese bought the company for the data more than the IP (Intellectual Property).
The purchased company was also used to import Chinese nationalists into the United States of America. I left it in 2000.
It still amazes me to this day on Americans, especially local, state and federal government agencies buying software, and hardware infected with Chinese spy systems, because they have no clue, or care on what is really going on. Hopefully more Americans will wake up to this clear and present danger.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is not our friend, and no friend to freedom.
We blocked all their IP (Internet Protocol) addresses. But the CCP and their teams still attack using Amazon AWS and other hosting services including datacenters located in the United States of America they own.
Wake up! The Loss of Freedom is not worth a cheap Chinese made product from stolen IP (Intellectual Property)!
